Terms and conditions:
Rental Rates: Cost per rental is based on the number of people in your party.
Deposit upon booking: 50% is due upon booking.
Full Payment: Balance of rental payment, plus security deposit, are due 90 days prior to occupancy. Failure to comply with this may result in the denial of occupancy upon arrival. Final payments not received 90 days prior to occupancy creates the presumption of cancellation and renders Juanita’s Beach House available for renting to the first fully paid rental received for the date and period specified. Under such circumstances, if the house is re-rented, deposits would be returned.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund if reservation is canceled 91 days prior to occupancy; 50% refund if canceled 61-90 days prior to occupancy and 0% if canceled 60 days prior to occupancy.
Security Deposit: $1,500.00 (USD) due 90 days prior to occupancy. Security deposits are returned, if appropriate, after housekeeper inspection and inventory.
Maximum Occupancy: Maximum number is limited to 8 persons. Violation of this maximum may result in the termination of the rental agreement and eviction from Juanita’s Beach House prior to the end of the rental period. Housekeeper will enforce.
Checkin: 3:00 PM day of arrival. Arrivals before 3:00 PM may leave luggage. Full occupancy of Juanita’s Beach House may not take place before 3:00 pm, or before cleaning is completed.
Checkout: 11:00 AM, day of departure. On days when guests are going out and coming in back-to-back (“turnarounds”) it is necessary that all luggage be moved to the interior porch space by 11:00 AM to enable the housekeeper to prepare for the next guests. Failure to vacate accordingly is cause for additional rent charge and/or forfeiture of security deposit.
Housekeeping/Laundry: Washer dryer is intended for housekeeper only. Linens are changed every other day. Beach towels are provided, but are the responsibility of the guests. Missing towels will be deducted from the renter's security deposit. Housekeeper has full authority to inspect Juanita’s Beach House during the time of the rental.
Cooking: Housekeeper is available to cook for guests, but arranged personally and at additional cost to be arranged between housekeeper and guests. Please state such requests at time of rental.
Pets: Pets are NOT allowed in the house at any time.
Telephone: Locals calls only. Long distance calls must be made with a pre-paid long distance phone card available at most Harbour Island locations, or see housekeeper.
Smoking: Juanita’s Beach House is a NO SMOKING house. Occupants agree not to smoke inside the house at any time and to exercise reasonable care to keep the grounds clean and free of debris.
Swimming Pool Rules: Juanita’s Beach House includes a pool for the convenience of its Occupants. No lifeguard is furnished at any time and the responsibility for the safety of all occupants and children rests solely on its occupants. Minor children are not allowed to be in or near the pool, at any time without adult supervision. Acceptance of this contract includes acceptance of these terms and all liabilities associated with the use of the pool and pool areas.
Important: Please be aware that the policy can change due to current weather conditions or emergency situations. Also we reserve the right to cancell the stay in the beach house due to any not predictable emergency situations.
